I’m Karla and I currently reside in the midwestern town of Council Bluffs, Iowa with my 4-year-old Beagle named Wrangler. As long as I can remember, I have loved traveling and one of my favorite sayings is “Life is not meant to be lived in one place.”

I have traveled extensively all over the United States with some of my favorite places being Nashville, Branson, and San Francisco. One of my most memorable trips was driving the Pacific Coast Highway from Northern California to Seattle.

I have recently started to explore destinations outside the US, mainly the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico. I’m hoping to cross a few more places off my bucket list soon, including Costa Rica and Jamaica.
There are so many endless options of places to see and explore, I decided to become a travel advisor so I could not only broaden my horizons, but also to help others make their dreams of traveling become a reality.

From the time my husband and I started dating, traveling became a part of our lives. I frequently tell people that "I only work so that I may travel" . Twice a year at minimum I take a trip. Once with my husband and 3 kids, and another that is just for my husband and I.

Recently, while planning our upcoming family vacation, my husband asked me why I didn't become a travel agent. 24 hours later, I was researching and listening to podcasts about what a travel agent is, what exactly they do, and this is something I want.

Here I am! I am now a travel advisor, and I look forward to helping plan your next family getaway or a couple's retreat.
