Embarkation Day on Azamara Pursuit

August 12 was the official start of our cruise adventure—and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. We arrived at the port around 11:30 a.m., and within moments the embarkation process was complete. Quick, flawless, and stress-free—exactly what you hope for when beginning a journey at sea.

A short bus ride later, we stepped onboard the Azamara Pursuit, and it immediately felt like home. Our first stop? Mosaic Café, where a cappuccino in hand marked the perfect welcome to ship life. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with staff greeting us as though we were old friends.

Not long after, we changed into swimsuits and made our way to the pool deck. The sun was shining, the water refreshing, and it wasn’t long before we were laughing and chatting with Neilson, one of the amazing crew members who made us feel right at home from the start.
