Club Med Turkoise

We were out exploring again, we are back from the sun-soaked shores of Club Med Turkoise. Nestled on the pristine Grace Bay, our four-night stay was brimming with tropical adventures, captivating hues (OMG, that sun setting over the water), and Caribbean charm. Let's get the sand between our toes and dive into the glorious details of this unmissable vacation getaway! 🌞✈️

1. 🏝️ Grace Bay: Nature's Masterpiece

Imagine stepping onto one of the world's most stunning beaches - Grace Bay - Recognized as one of the best beaches as its soft white sands kiss the endless crystal clear turquoise waters. Grace Bay really is a great choice for vacationing, its beauty is unrivaled; visitors find themselves in awe of its natural magnificence, we found ourselves sitting by the water often, just listening to the waves and enjoying the sands.

2. 🌊 That Turquoise Glow

The breathtaking turquoise of Grace Bay's waters is not just a visual gift but a serene oasis inviting every visitor to explore the magic beneath the waves. As you take in paradise you are drawn to the contrasts between the turquoise waters, the white sands of the beach and blue skies above. We swam, we snorkeled, and we enjoyed the hobie cat...we found ourselves always going back to enjoy the water, the view and the stunning sunsets.

3. 🏨 Cozy Hangout Spots

Club Med Turkoise knew how to roll out the welcome mat. The rooms were super clean, bright, and perfect for rest or downtime between sun and splash sessions. Staff were nice, energetic, and provided nightly shows that keep us wowed and entertained for hours. There were wonderful places to relax, comfy chairs and couches everywhere, with some in the sun and others in the shade - we enjoyed just hanging out!

4. 🍽️ Simple but Scrumptious Eats

When it comes to food, it's pretty straightforward. They offer a buffet and a spot called Sharkie's for eats between buffet times. The options are not massive, but trust me—every bite was packed with taste and there is something for everyone! Sharkies is also the place to be for live music each evening, hanging with new friends and watching the sun set. The local beer is offered in a lager and amber...both are cold, readily available and easily drinking! Fun Fact: when you enter the buffet area they have all the different options that are available for that meal placed on one side table for your viewing - this saves you from walking around to see everything!

5. 🌅 Splash Around in Style

Not in to ocean swimming...The pool area steals the show with those scenic water views and ample space for everyone to park their relaxed selves. Jump in for a swim or kick back and soak up the vibe—your call! If you like to be at the center of things - check out the sitting area with a sun shade in the center of the pool - we did, it was pretty cool!

6. 🚤 Day's of Fun & Sun

Activities? Oh boy, they came loaded. From snorkeling to sailing on Hobie Cats, it was all about soaking in that sea breeze and having a blast! Club Med offers one the best dive programs and is registered as a Padi Dive Location (James started his training here years ago). This trip we only snorkeled, but even this was great fun with so many different colors and fish - even a shark!

7. 🚶‍♀️ Beach Stroll to Town

Turks & Caicos is a very walkable town and we decided to take a stroll into town! We walked alone the beach enjoying the stunning views, crossed over into town and stopped at Danny Buoys for some tasty local grub, chatted up some friendly shop owners, and then wandered back to the resort. It was a great day, and we were relaxed and ready for a swim by the time we returned.

8. 📉 The Little Bumps

No trip is perfect, and here's the low-down: There was no beach or poolside service, and only one bar where it felt like everyone was waiting for a cocktail. We would of liked the choice of a la carte restaurant as well, giving us a little extra to choose from...But hey, nothing could dim the sunny sparkle of Grace Bay!

• Underwater Wonders: The islands boast one of the longest coral reefs in the world, making them a diver's dream come true.
• Historic Delight: Once a treasure trove for pirates, the islands are steeped in rich history, with colorful pasts adding depth to their pristine present.

From our point of view...Taxi's are pricey | Food off of resort can cost you a pretty penny, but was worth the experience | Grace Bay really is worth the trip | Club Med was a great place to meet new people of all ages | Again, I can not say enough of the view - Just Stunning!
